Chemistry labs

The courses offered by the Department of Chemical Engineering include practical laboratory training - albeit with a different focus than in the chemistry laboratories of the scientific departments.

In our modern chemistry laboratories, future teachers of chemistry, chemical engineering, color technology and WTH develop their experimental skills for the safe use of very interesting, sometimes spectacular experiments relevant to school. Strict attention is always paid to health, safety, fire and environmental protection under school conditions.

From the summer semester 2025, the chemistry laboratories will be located in the new faculty building MS 1, rooms 154 / 155 , Münchnerstraße 1. Temporarily, access is only possible when accompanied by the lecturers, so please arrive in front of stairwell 2 shortly before the start of your course. You will then be picked up and taken to your rooms.
