Research Studio "Ghost Mines"
From 2 to 6 June 2025, the Research Studio "Ghost Mines - Sensing Pasts, Casting Futures" will take place, organized by the Chair of Digital Cultures of Schaufler Kolleg Vice-Speaker Orit Halpern, with the collaboration of Schaufler Lab postdoctoral researcher Özgün Eylül İşcen. The program includes lectures, demonstrations and workshops on digital ecologies and artistic data practices as well as two-day excursions to the Ore Mountains and Lusatia. Registration for the Research Studio is open to both young and advanced early-career researchers via a public call for applications until January 31, 2025.
