Presentation of the Department
Today, the Department of Forestry is part of the Faculty of Environmental Sciences of the Dresden University of Technology. The department consists of 9 institutes with 20 university professors. Tharandt as a location for forestry education and research is characterized by its proximity to the state capital and by its integration into a large university while at the same time providing individual advice and support for students in a pleasant atmosphere.
