Congratulations to Dipl.-Ing. Niklas Marc Schwiersch on the successful defense of his doctoral thesis
On 26.01.2022 Mr. Dipl.-Ing. Niklas Marc Schwiersch, successfully defended his scientific thesis within the doctoral procedure with the topic "A risk-based planning approach for homogeneous river dike cross sections". In addition to the chairman of the doctoral committee, Prof. Dr. Ivo Herle (TU Dresden), the reviewers were Prof. Dr. Jürgen Stamm (TU Dresden), Prof. Dr.-Ing. Jürgen Jensen (University of Siegen) and Prof. Dr.-Ing. habil. Jens Engel (Dresden University of Applied Sciences (HTW)) were present. Another member of the doctoral committee was Prof. Jochen Schanze (TU Dresden).
