Digital Teaching Team: New website and services
Even though face-to-face teaching has returned in most cases, the topic of digital teaching remains an important part of our everyday work. The use of digital materials in teaching has many advantages, including the participation of students with impairments, the compatibility of studies with family and/or career, the integration of international students, and the establishment of continuing education formats and distance learning courses.

The rectorate of the TU Dresden has recognized the importance and topicality of digital teaching and founded a Digital Teaching Team of the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering (TDL BU). The team's areas of responsibility include didactic advice on the creation of digital teaching or the integration of digital elements into teaching, support for technical implementation, and advice on the use of situation-appropriate tools. Through the close cooperation with the ZiLL and the other departmental TDLs, university-wide activities for digitally supported teaching can be advanced.
You can find more information on the new website (https://tu-dresden.de/bu/der-bereich/digitale-lehre). The team can also be reached by email and at the new Zoom office hours, Wednesdays from 12-1pm. In addition, a workshop offering will start soon - so it's worth keeping an eye on the website.
