*Deadline for ERC Proof of Concept extended unter May 07, 2020*

The European Research Council (ERC) has published the Proof of Concept Call (PoC) 2020.

The deadlines for submission are January 21, 2020, May 07, 2020 (old April 23, 2020), and September 17, 2020. Proof of Concept is a supplementary grant to the research grants of the ERC.

It is aimed exclusively at scientists who already hold an ERC grant and would like to commercialize a research result from their current or already completed project before commercial use.

The aim of a proof-of-concept project is to examine the market potential of such an idea. Thus, the ERC does not fund research activities, but measures to further develop the application, commercialization or commercialization of the idea.
