ESF Directive "Technology Funding 2014 - 2020"
The revised version of the directive of the Saxon State Ministry for Economic Affairs, Labour and Transport (SMWA) for European Social Fund co-financed projects in the area of technology funding (Directive ESF Technology Funding 2014 - 2020) has become effective on 20 January 2015.
This funding scheme is supposed to enhance cooperation between science/research and industry as well as to strengthen the innovation capacity of Saxon companies and thus contribute to the creation and protection of sustainable jobs in the Free State of Saxony.
Futhermore the funding objectives are the following:
- Improve the employment opportunities for graduates and skilled professionals from universities, research institutions, universities of cooperative education and technical schools

Strengthening the technology and knowledge transfer in Saxon companies

Increasing staff mobility between science and industry.
Universities are eligble for funding in the following funding areas:
