JPI Urban Europe: New Call for Proposals - „Urban Accessibility and Connectivity“
The BMBF supports transnational projects on the topic of "Urban Accessibility and Connectivity" within the Joint Programming Initiative (JPI) "Urban Europe" in the context of global sustainable urbanization.
The focus is on the sustainable development of the urban mobility system with regard to accessibility and connectivity.
Cross-border cooperations should be initiated or existing ones strengthened.
The following countries are involved: Belgium, Denmark, Germany, France, Great Britain, Italy, Latvia, the Netherlands, Norway, Austria, Poland, Romania, Sweden, Slovenia, Turkey, Cyprus.
Topics:
- Develop solutions for an integrated approach to sustainable urban mobility and to transport, land use and digital connectivity.
- Develop and support the implementation of innovative mobility systems and services with the potential to contribute to sustainable mobility in the city.
- Redesign and reorganization of urban spaces to lay the foundation for sustainable mobility and accessibility in the city.
- Developing effective policy options for a transformation towards sustainable urban accessibility and connectivity.
- Changes in behavior and perspectives towards sustainable urban accessibility and networking.
The application process is multi-stage.
Project outlines are to be submitted by March 17, 2020.
