Annual conference on teacher training in Saxony

Over 400 people registered for the first annual conference on teacher training in Saxony at TU Dresden last Saturday (01.02.2025).

Together with our colleagues from vocational didactics Prof. Dr. Anja Walter and Jana Markert as well as Heike Neunaß as head of the teacher training center for vocational schools, we as Chair of Vocational Education were able to present the working group on vocational education as a best practice example of 6 years of continuous cooperation between the 1st, 2nd and 3rd phases and to organize a specialist forum on vocational education.

Around 25 people from different parts of Saxony and from all three phases were invited to attend.The practical phases in the teacher training course, the relationship between science and practice (knowledge and skills), the importance of mentor qualification and further optimization of coherence between the phases were discussed.
