Main researchs of the chair

The Chair of Educational Technology conducts research in a variety of key areas and subject areas. These include online communities in vocational education and training, the design of educational technologies in international vocational education and training, cooperation between learning venues and the integral design of hybrid learning venues. The Chair deals with these topics in the context of projects and programs of the European Commission and the Federal Ministry of Education, Research and Technology, among others, as well as in the context of qualification projects and graduate theses.

In addition, the Chair supervises the Structured Graduate Program Education & Technology (SPET), which brings together doctoral students and lecturers from three European universities (Dresden, Strasbourg, Bergen), two private European universities of applied sciences and a number of other universities worldwide in the field of ICT and educational sciences.
