The Council of the Faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering elected Prof. Andreas Richter as the new Dean on January 15. Prof. Richter holds the Chair of Microsystems Engineering and has been Vice-Dean of the Faculty since 2018. He will now lead the Faculty as Dean for an initial term of three years. We wish Prof. Richter every success in his new position and would also like to thank Prof. Bock for his work as Dean to date.
Prof. Frank Ellinger, Chair of Circuit Design and Network Theory, is now a member of the Dean's Office as the new Vice-Dean. The previous Vice-Dean, Prof. Peter Birkholz, was re-elected.
