Courses in the basic and main study program

As an engineering-based interdisciplinary science, ergonomics looks at human work from various aspects. All issues relating to the planning, design, performance and execution of human work are dealt with scientifically, methodically and systematically. Teaching focuses on imparting technical, methodological and social skills for the optimal design of the elements of the work system as well as safety and health protection in the workplace.

The Chair of Labour Engineering offers courses for various fields of study.

Acquisition of the REFA certificate - "Fundamentals of work organization"
To obtain the REFA certificate, a course (40 hours incl. examination) can be attended after the lecture period by arrangement Secretariat

Quality Management Specialist/Quality Management Officer: Previously, CIMTT and the Chair of Labour Engineering ran an intensive quality management course for students on the Mechanical Engineering and Business Administration and Economics degree programs during the lecture-free period. Unfortunately, the conditions of our cooperation partner (TÜV Süd Akademie) have changed. Under these framework conditions, the course can no longer be offered.
