The Career-Building Programme

In three schools, which build upon one another, you can learn essential skills for your management career while still studying, such as:

• Career planning and counselling (coaching and mentoring)
•  Excursions and personal company contacts
• Workshops on communication, leadership, and management skills
• Project and innovation management as part of an innovation workshop
• Placements for an internship or final thesis
• Possibilities to exchange ideas in a nationwide network of female technology enthusiasts

Requirements for a successful application

• You must be enrolled at TU Dresden or another Femtec partner university for at least another year to ensure that you can successfully complete the program during your studies.
• The language of instruction of the schools is English, therefore sufficient English language skills are absolutely necessary. A good command of German is also necessary.
• The place of instruction is Berlin. All three schools must be completed by the participants. Travel and accommodation costs can often be reimbursed/subsidized by the faculties.
• The Femtec Career-Building Programme is aimed exclusively at women from the fields of computer science, engineering and natural sciences. All participating faculties of TU Dresden can be found here:

It is possible to apply in the following study phases:

• Diploma programs: 7^th to 8^th semester
• Master programs: 1^st and 2^nd semester

The Femtec Career-Building Programme is right for you if:

• You would like to systematically plan your transition into a career or your career itself, and you would like to improve key competences.
• You are looking to exchange ideas with promising female students from the STEM area.
