Responsibilities
The Chancellor heads the administration of the university and serves as the budget officer. His role enables him to take part in the meetings of all university committees and to take a position on their work and propositions. The Chancellor is appointed by the Saxon State Ministry for Higher Education, Research, Culture and Tourism.
