Medal of Honor of TU Dresden

The first Medal of Honor at TU Dresden was awarded in 1999. A medal of honor can be awarded for services of various kinds contributing to the well-being of TU Dresden. Honorary Senator of TU Dresden

The title of Honorary Senator is awarded to individuals who have rendered outstanding services to the university as a whole, both in terms of material and non-material support. Awards for the best graduates

TU Dresden awards the Lohrmann Medal to the best graduate of the Faculty in an academic year. The Student Council can submit a further proposal for the Lohrmann Medal award. Outstanding research achievements should be recognized and awarded.  The TUD Award for Excellent Science Communication aims to recognize and honor this commitment.
