GADIAM First meeting of the supervisory board 23th January, 2018

Project presentation by Prof. Dr. Thomas Günther
On Tuesday 23rd of January 2018, the TU Dresden project partners in the GADIAM - project („Gesundes Arbeiten mit vernetzten digitalen Arbeitsmitteln“) hosted the first meeting of the supervisory board. The main purpose of this project is to reduce the amount of stress through self-inducted or external time and performance pressure. For this purpose, the project coordinators Prof. Dr. Dr. Hacker (Arbeitsgruppe “Wissen-Denken-Handeln”) and Prof. Dr. T. Günther (chair of Business Management, esp Management Accounting and Control) warmly welcomed the supervisory board in the old library of the Gerhart-Potthoff-Building at TU Dresden.
Besides Ms. Mischer and Mr. Kirsch from the chair of Business Management, esp Management Accounting and Control and other assistants of the project, the cooperation partners Deutsche MTM-Vereinigung e. V., Deutsche Werkstätten Hellerau GmbH and Telegärtner Gerätebau GmbH took part in this meeting. The further guests: the project management agency from Karlsruhe and the transfer partners Kieback&Peter GmbH & Co. KG and novaworx were welcomed as well. All members of the supervisory board were present. The supervisory board consists of members of the IG Metall board, the iffa institute „Institut für angewandte Arbeitswissenschaft e. V.“, the „Bundesverband mittelständische Wirtschaft Wirtschaftsregion Dresden“, the „Regionalgruppe Dresden der Familienunternehmer ASU e. V.“ and the university hospital Carl Gustav Carus Dresden (Zentralbereich Qualitäts- und Medizinisches Risikomanagement).
After a detailed presentation of the project by the professors, the members of the supervisory board explained their particular interest in the project in an open discussion. The official part of the event was finished by Mr. Scherr from the project management agency from Karlsruhe who briefly explained the role of the project GADIAM in the overall research field of the BMBF “Arbeit in einer digitalisierten Welt”. At the end, all project members, cooperation partners and members of the supervisory board gathered together for lunch.
